The drama club of PSG College of Arts & Science in association with 'Manal Magudi Theatre Land', a Chennai-based theatre team presented a soul-stirring drama called 'Neer Nadodigal' at Manis Higher Secondary School.
Konangi, a national award-winning Writer and Actor Murugadoss were the Chief Guest for the event.

The Students from PSG along with drama artists rendered a wholesome drama experience to the viewers, on the chain of incidents that happened during the Chennai floods.
Starting from illegal encroachments by the people around water bodies, the lethargic attitude of the government officials, the people, love, livestocks, nature and the catastrophe - the role played by each of these factors during the Chennai floods was intensely depicted by the artists through their arresting emotions and body language.The lightings, heart-rending music, costumes all added more life and realism to the drama.
S. Muruga Boopathy, the Director of the drama & Music stated that, he has used talented pool of human resources and knowledge to stage this drama. Principal of PSG Arts & Science, Mr. Rajendran, faculty members and students of PSG were present during the event.
'Though the organisers collected an entry fee, the performance of the artists was commendable. The emotions were so strong that they outperformed movie artists', said Kathir, one of the audience for the event.
