The Narcotics special team led by Inspector Jayakumar had seized 50 Kgs of Ganja at Podanur.
The Narcotics team during their routine patrol identified two persons with suspicious activities at the Podanur railway station. On inquiry, the duo were siblings from Erode and possessed close to 50 kgs of Ganja packets in their bags.
The offenders were identified as Kavitha (33) and Anburaj (28) from Erode. They were arrested by the Podanur police and confiscated the Ganja.
