Arvind Kejriwal's Car Hits Police Vehicle In Minor Accident In Punjab

Chandigarh: Arvind Kejriwal's car hit a police vehicle in Punjab on Friday morning, when the Delhi Chief Minister was travelling from Ludhiana to Amritsar, 80 km away.

Mr. Kejriwal was unhurt and had to change cars.

A biker had apparently come in front of the convoy suddenly, which led to a pile-up.

The Toyota Innova in which Mr Kejriwal was riding hit the police car leading the convoy. Mr. Kejriwal, who was wearing a seat belt, was unhurt. Others in the car, Aam Aadmi Party leaders Bhagwant Mann and HS Phoolka were also unhurt.

The Punjab police has increased its contingent around the Delhi Chief Minister after he was heckled on his arrival yesterday at the Ludhiana Railway Station.

This morning, the convoy had approximately 20 cars.

Mr. Kejriwal, who is in Punjab for three days, will visit the Golden Temple today.
