As Vinayakar idol immersion is scheduled at 2 pm at Muthanna Kulam, roads leading to the immersion and procession routes have been blocked. The traffic has come to a standstill at Oppanakara Street.
Oppanakara street, Raja street, Variety hall road, Town hall, Sukarawarpet are the areas through which the procession will start close to 1 pm and end at Muthanna Kulam at 2 pm. Hence, commuters are advised to be aware of the situation.
