Students of Govt. Arts College voice against atrocities on tamilians in Karnataka

Close to 40 students of Government Arts College today staged a protest condemning the violence inflicted on a tamilian, for posting his view on the on-going Cauvery issue, in favour of Tamil Nadu in Facebook.

The students alleged that the BJP party in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are deceiving the people of Tamil Nadu by condemning each other’s action. The brutal act of violence enacted upon a innocent tamilian is highly condemnable, hence stern action should be forced on the rioters, they insisted. They demanded that the Central Government should ensure the security of all tamil community people residing in Karnataka and should derive at an amicable solution for the on-going Cauvery issue at the earliest.
