"I will not allow my family members to lead our party": Kamal Haasan in Coimbatore

Addressing a huge gathering at Sulur, Kamal Haasan recollected his nostalgic memories of Tamil movie 'Devar Magan' which was shot in Sulur. "Sulur is not new to me. I stayed here for several months at the time of Devar Magan shoot. This time am not here for a shoot but to serve the people. Am here to bring a change; am here to create a good atmosphere where children and women can be safe in the State", said Kamal Haasan amidst huge applause.

He also slammed that the sexual abuse cases are dealt at snail pace by the ruling party. People should throw these parties out of power, and it's the responsibility of the people to elect a genuine leader who can raise our voice in the Parliament.

Kamal Haasan challenged the ruling party leaders and the Chief minister if they could gather such crowd, without giving money. Kamal concluded his speech at Sulur after an ambulance was trying to make way through the crowd.

"Like we have given way for the ambulance, let's give way for change and honest politicians", asserted Kamal.

As the President of MNM reached Kamarajapuram, the crowd gave him a roaring welcome by waving their mobile flash lights.

"The political parties were highly critical that it would take ages for the people to accept 'torch light' as a symbol. To the contrary, the reality is different. By flashing your mobile phones, you have  reassured me that the symbol has been accepted and registered in your minds. Am sure, MNM's torch light will light up every corner of the State", opined Kamal.

He requested the people to refrain from selling their votes for money. "It's time to  move forward. Discard the politicians who have betrayed you and failed to provide good education, drinking water and better drainage facility", told Kamal.
