Close to 60 members of the Social democratic parry of India (SDPI), today gathered in the front of the City Corporation office in Big Bazaar Street alleging the city corporation for non-completion of projects.

When speaking to the press Muhammed Salim, councillor of Ward number 82, reported that, “Work has not commenced for many projects even after performing Bhoomi Pooja and we've been persistently urging the offcials at the corporation council meeting to pay attention to the pending works, until now the works remain unfinished. Close to 3.5 crore worth of works have been left unattended'.

The protesters raised slogans against the city corporation and tried to enter the corporation building. The police stopped and arrested them and cleared the situation.
