Federal bank launches 'Skill Academy' for ecomically-deprived students

As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Federal Bank, today launched 'Federal Skill Academy' - a commendable initiative to facilitate underprivileged students to successfully complete the courses and make them employable for opportunities both in India and abroad.

Federal Bank has partnered with SB Global Education Resources Pvt. ltd to implement the project. The first academy was launched last year in Kochi, where three batches of students have successfully completed their course along with placements. 

The Skill Academy at Coimbatore was inaugurated by Shri Mahendra Ramdass, President, COINDIA, Managing Director Mahendra Pumps and the Lab was inaugrated by Shri V Thirugnanam Vice-President CODISSIA, Chief Executive, Meridian Mediteck will inaugurate the Lab. 





Federal Skill Academy will be initially providing an in-demand CNC Machine Operator Certificate Course in Milling & Turning which will be certified by COINDIA. Students of 18-25 years of age, who have passed 2/ITI/Polytechnic/Degree or Engineering dropout students and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs.2 lakhs per annum, are eligible to apply for the course. Applicants will be shortlisted based on an aptitude test and interview. Interested candidates shall apply for admission by emailing the Resume, Proof of Age, Income Proof and scanned copy of Educational Certificates to [email protected].
