RPF personnels clash with Govt. bus conductor

Today morning, a scuffle between a government bus conductor and RPF personnels caused a 2-hour traffic halt in Podanur.

It is reported that, four railway police personnel boarded on a government bus at Ukkadam, that was enroute to Podanur. When the bus conductor, Muthukumar, asked them to buy tickets, they have denied to buy tickets.. When the bus reached Podanur, they volunteered to buy the tickets. They entered in a clash with the conductor and assaulted him, while getting down at their stop. The driver shocked by the assault, drove the bus to the Podanur police station. Muthukumar, briefed the incident and filed a complaint at the Podanur Police station. 

The stoppage of the bus at the Podanur Police station and the complaint incident gathered crowd and attention of the other bus drivers and conductors of that route. The drivers and conductors boycotted their work and urged the Police to call the RPF's to the spot. The police pacified the bus drivers by assuring to file a case against the incident. The traffic was halted for nearly 2 hours, resulting in delay for the passengers to reach their designated places on time.
