Winners of District elocution competition

Coimbatore District Youth Red Cross chapter in association with YRC units of Government Arts College, Coimbatore and PG Department of Social Work of Si Krishna Arts and Science College, Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore organized elocution competitions on Youth Employment in Tamil and English at the premises of Government Arts College. 

About 42 students from 21 colleges participated in the contest and spoke on the youth employment in India.

The winners who secured the first prize in Tamil and English competitions will be attending the State level final competition to be conducted by the Indian Red Cross Society, Tamilnadu Branch on the same topic at Chennai. 

The event was initiated by Prof.A.Alagarsamy, District Organizer-YRC and Head of the department of Social Work of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College and the competitions was coordinated by Prof.Chandrakrishnan, YRC Programme Officer of Government Arts College. Prof. Nagarathinam, Prof.Balasarawathi of Government Arts College, Prof.Kala of SNS College of Technology, various professors, and students attended the programme.
