Student's birthday ends in a tragic accident

A mournful incident, reporting the death of a 21-year-old, who was knocked down by a train, while he was walking on the railway tracks and speaking on his phone. 

The victim Manoj Kumar, son of Samuel is a resident of Avarampalayam. Yesterday was Manoj's birthday, a friend had called him to pass on his birthday wishes. Manoj was walking on the railway tracks and talking to his friend over cellphone. Unexpectedly, an express train passing through the route knocked him down, costing his life on the spot. 

The incident was reported to the Peelamedu police station, who recovered his body from the tracks and sent for postmortem examination. 

The horrifying accident has shocked the victim's family and also has cautioned the people to abstain from walking on the tracks.
