'Srishti 2016' a unique and vibrant expo has been organized by 'Crafts Council of Tamil Nadu' at Suguna Auditorium on Avinashi road. The three-day expo is an ideal blend of traditional and trendy products, definitely irresistible and luring!

The Crafts Council of Tamil Nadu, has been hosting this expo, since 20 years, featuring variegated products from all over India like accessories, bedspreads, jewellery, womens' & kids wear, footwear, home decors and of course, lip smacking food stalls.




Mrs.Lakshmi, Past President of Crafts Council of Tamil Nadu while speaking with Simplicity shared that 'More than 60 stalls will be hosted this year. We aim to connect the designers and products across India, under one roof and provide the people of Coimbatore an enticing shopping experience. She also mentioned that every year funds raised through this expo are used for hosting crafts bazaar, to help craftsmen use the platform for showcasing their skills'.
Mrs.Akansha of Boond from Kolkatta has been a loyal participant at the expo, for the past five years and affirmed that she is very happy with the response of the Coimbatoreans. She has displayed trendy and aesthetically designed accessories for all age groups at her stall.




The stall by Amrit Centre for Special Kids, also garnered the attention of kids and parents. They had displayed envelopes, styled pen stands, trays, notepads, table mats, kitchen towels....all designed and packed by differently abled kids. The profit gained through this exhibition is wholly contributed to the development of differently-abled children at their school, said Devannan, Supervisor of the school.

The expo will be open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm till 24th September, 2016.
