Though for a brief time, Coimbatore Government hospital was tensed, after a unidentified drunkard with a sharp blade in his hand, threatened women and children, this evening.
Horrified by his condition and behaviour the women and children squealed in fear and ran all over the place. The police who were on duty seized the boozehound. Upon inquiry, he was identified as Govindan from Trichy and has been staying in the platforms of the city. After due warning, the cops let him go.
