National Conference on 'Matrix Management' at Sri Krishna Arts and Science College


The Department of Management of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, Coimbatore today conducted a National Conference on Matrix Management. S.M.Rajkumar, Human Resource Manager of VITAE, International Accounting Services Pvt Ltd was the Chief Guest and delivered his chief guest address.  






Synopsis of his speech:

It is very important for any organisation to share it's organizational policies and structures to it's sub-ordinates, even the blue color workers should be aware of the policies. Most of the top organisations adhere to this policy strictly. Hiding information only curtails their growth. A well-informed employee will own up responsibilities, build a cordial relationship with the employer and will strive to deliver the best of his efforts for the successful functioning of the organisation. Undeniably, it's the winning formula of any organisation.




The organizations should use smart communication ways to accomplish the tasks easily and ensure all of it's employees are well-informed of the things that are happening within the organization. Most of the companies still follow traditional management approach. Cross functional approach makes the work easy and connects various parallel departments.  The matrix management eases to get the work done. Strong communication systems puts off the perplex administration, mismanagement, avoids dual and repeated work, saves money, energy, time and professional expertise.

He expressed his concern over emerging MBA, how come out with great marks and grades but lack employable skills. He advised the students to read 10 biographies of the top successful persons in the world and develop their life skills, administrative skills, managing the crisis, improving decision making skills, leadership methods and people management techniques.

Students from various colleges presented their research papers at the session. Dr.P. Balagnanakumar, Principal of the college, HOD's of Management department .Prof.Rajan, Prof. Julian Gnanadas and close to 80 Professors and Students from various colleges across the country were present during the session.
