Actor Vijay fan club members urge to curb distribution of pirated CD's

The Coimbatore fan club members of Actor Vijay, led by Sampathkumar today petitioned the City Police Commissioner A. Amalraj to take stringent action against persons who indulge in distributing and seeling of pirated CD's of newly released movies.

The fans in their petition cited the pirated CD's of new movies 'Thodari' of actor Dhanush and 'Dharmadurai' of Vijay Sethupathy are under circulation in the city, while the movies are still screening shows in theatres. They stated that prevalence of pirated CD's cause huge crisis to the cinema industry, resulting in grave losses for the distributors and producers, as the people stay away from theatres for watching movies.
