H. Raja, National Executive Member of BJP was there in the City to express his grief and console the family members of slain Sasikumar of Hindu Munani.

While speaking to the press, he expressed his dissatisfaction on the enquiry of Sasikumar's murder carried out by the police. He stated that the police has failed to provide needful protection to the Hindu religious leaders, inspite of them seeking protection and the intelligence reports affirming the threats on them. He hinted that muslim terrorist elements are behind the death of Sasikumar.
He expressed his dissatisfaction as the police are yet to ascertain the murderers linked with the death of the hindu religious leaders, in the past 15 days. Considering this, the case should be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), with immediate effect, he insisted.
He also added that presently the state of Tamil Nadu is witnessing persistent violence and remains distorted in terms of law and order. The State government should take up the issue and initiate steps to hand over the investigation to NIA or else the BJP party would seek judicial action regarding the same, he told.
He urged that the police should set a serious watch on the Bangladeshis' living in the City, as they were the elements involved in riots during Sasikumar's procession. The police have detained more than 800 innocent Hindu Munani activists in connection with the riots, instead the real offenders should be taken to task, he said.
