A youth was nabbed by the police when he attempted to kidnap a young girl at here, yesterday.
Sampath (22) works at a mobile shop at Kallampalayam. It is reported that he was in love with Divya, a 18-year-old girl of the same area. He has been stalking her to make her fall in love with him. Yesterday, while Divya was on her way to home, Sampath tried to kidnap her.
She squealed in horror, which brought the nearby residents to the scene. Sampath tried to escape from the spot but the people thumped and nabbed him and handed over to police.
Divya has registered a complaint with the police against the incident.
