Two-day National Seminar on 'New education policy' at Bharathiar University
Bharathiyar University's Development council today organized a two-day National Seminar on 'New Education Policy 2016' (NEP 2016) in association with their Department of Education.
The seminar was inaugurated by Dr.R.Karpaga Kumaravel, Former Vice-Chancellor of Madurai Kamaraj University and the Professor & Head, Department of Education, Central University, Thiruvarur. She emphasised the disparities and issues prevailing in the current education system and also elaborated the objective of NEP 2016, "Making India a Knowledge Super Power"
Following the guest lecture, felicitations were delivered by Dr. A.Muthumanickam, Head, Department of Education, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai and Dr.P.R.Muthusamy, Syndicate member of the University and Principal of Dr.NGP college of Arts and Science. The inauguration of the seminar was successfully culminated by Dr.G.Singaravelu, Head of the Department of Education, Bharathiar University also the co-ordinator of the seminar.
