Just an hour ago, the General Secretary of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party has announced their candidates and allotment of seats to their ally to contest in the upcoming State body elections.
In Coimbatore District, out of the 100 seats, DMK party has allotted 17 seats to Congress, their ally. Ward No: 5,10,12,14,20,34,39,59,67,71,74,77,79,81,89,96,97 has been the wards allotted to Congress. The DMK candidates to contest in the rest of the 83 wards have been also released.
