22 school children injured after jeep falls into gorge in Mandi, Himachal

New Delhi: At least 22 school children on Tuesday were injured after a jeep they were travelling in fell into a gorge in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.

The injured have been given medical treatment while four of them were taken to a hospital.

In the recent times, there were reports of deadly road accidents in the hilly region.

Last month, a person was killed and another was injured when a truck collided with a scooter in Sundar Nagar area of Mandi district.

Day before, six pilgrims were killed and four others were injured after a car in which they were riding turned turtle en route to Manimahesh in Chamba.
