BJP will not demand President's Rule in Tamil Nadu clarifies Muralidhara Rao

Muralidhar Rao National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) clarified that the party will not demand President's rule in Tamil Nadu. Commenting on the formation of the Cauvery water management tribunal this leader stated that the same can be formed only after a law is passed in the parliament.

“The Central Government cannot act on its own in this dispute between two states.” Muralidhar Rao said. He added “BJP will not insist on appointing a Deputy Chief Minister owing to the health condition of Chief Minister, J Jayalalithaa. I reiterate that the BJP will not seek the President's rule in Tamil Nadu.” Muralidhar Rao said.
