A fire broke out at a factory that is involved in manufacturing plastic products. This factory is located in Therkupalayam near Narasimanaickenapalayam in Coimbatore. The factory was recycling plastic. This fire broke yesterday, on ayudha pooja day, October 11. Plastic products worth two lakhs are reported gutted. No one was injured. As soon as the fire was noticed, the Fire and Rescue Services department was alerted and they brought the fire under control. Periyanaickenpalayam police have registered a case and are investigating what caused the fire.
