About 16 college teams from 8 zones from across Tami Nadu will clash against each other in the Coimbatore College Premier League CCPL T20. This is an initiative of city-based event management company. Radio station Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM and city-based app SimpliCity are partners. Addressing the media at a press meet this morning, Andrew Sam, Founder, SimpliCity app said “You can catch all the action on and off the field of the CCPL T20 league on SimpliCity, courtesy live updates. We will also flash live scoreboard of all the matches. So in case you cannot physically watch the tournament, you can get the updates through our app.” Andrew said. Programme Director of Radio Mirchi Ajith Krishna and players of participating teams came face-to-face with the media at the press meet.
Registrations for this tournament are open. About 34 college teams from our region are expected to participate in this tournament. Selection of teams for this cricket tournament will begin on November 2. The matches for the Coimbatore zone will be hosted at the PSG college grounds.
