TiE felicitates A. Muruganandham for his innovation and contribution to society


This evening Padmashree A. Muruganandham was felicitated by Coimbatore chapter of TiE for his contribution to grassroots level hygiene improvement for women through his sanitary napkin innovation. This event was hosted by Coimbatore chapter of TiE.



G. Karthikeyan Chartered Accountant by profession and President, TiE Coimbatore Chapter, in his address said “Coimbatore chapter of TiE is fostering entrepreneurial skills, networking and mentoring. TiE has been supporting entrepreneurs since the last two-decades. It is an encouraging sign that the government is also stepping up and supporting entrepreneurs through various incentives and initiatives'.



This was followed by the keynote address delivered by R. Ramraj, Founder of SIFY and Sequoia Capital. In his address he emphasised on the need for fresh ideas to develop the entrepreneurial skills among the budding entrepreneurs. “There is no dearth of entrepreneurs in India, especially in Coimbatore. However, entrepreneurs lack mentoring.” Ramraj said.

K.Ilango, Past President of TiE felicitated the new office bearers of TiE, Coimbatore Chapter.
