Acting on a tip-off the Thennamanallur police visited the areas around the Kari Amman Temple. Superintendent of Police Ravichandran did a check. It came to light that Mosayan (66) was in possession of 300-grams of cannabis (ganja) in its powder form. He was arrested by the police. During interrogation Mosayan revealed that there are few ganja peddlers who are active in the Gandhi colony area.
