One of the public toilets for women in Poosaripalayam is in very bad shape. The women residents of this area have in the past too demand better toilet facilities. However, nothing has been done by the concerned authorities in this regard.

To add to their troubles, branches of a tree from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) campus fell on the public toilet. Authorities have not cleaned the branches as yet. There is another public toilet in the same vicinity. It was also reported that a few days ago, a 10-year old boy was beaten up by miscreants behind the public toilet.
