Another edition of metro market opens in Coimbatore

In case you wish to do last minute shopping this festive season Metro Market is a place you must visit. This bi-monthly shopping festival is the brainchild of Anandi Sriganth and Yamani Sriram. Metro Market is a two-day shopping expo that was declared open this morning. This shopping festival is hosted at the Purandaradasar Hall on Arokiasamy Street in R S Puram. This shopping festival will conclude tomorrow, October 23. Entry to Metro Market is free and visiting hours are from 10 am to 9 pm on both the days.



On display are a range of products for men and woman like clothes, accessories and more. There are 65 stalls in all. Ashya Jain, one of the vendors at Metro Market is hoping to do good business. This home entrepreneur makes and sells chocolates and bakery products from her home kitchen under the brand name Little Things. On display and for sale at this edition of Metro Market Ashya has her cracker chocolate which is worth a try.

Also positive of doing good business is Sinu from Kayal Collections who has brought the best of women wear. She shares with us that this is the 3rd time she is participating as vendor in Metro Market. “We are just a few days away from Diwali. At such shopping expos people are able to shop for a variety of products under one roof.” Sinu shares.

This edition of Metro Market is expected to draw huge crowds considering it is the weekend.
