Lingeswari, a resident of Urappakkam, Kancheepuram has registered a complaint with the Race Course police station alleging the conductor and driver of a private bus for using abusive language to her.
Lingeswari, wife of Kannan was here in the city for personal work. Yesterday, she was on the way to Chennai in a private bus from Coimbatore. It is reported that shortly after the bus commenced, the bus conductor ill-treated Lingeswari before the other passengers. When the bus reached Karumathampatti, the argument got further heated up and transformed into a squabble. The bus driver and the conductor stopped the bus and forcedly have asked Lingeswari to step down from the bus. Based on the complaint received, the Race Course police have begun their investigation.
