Newspaper 'Dina Thanthi' celebrates 75th year anniversary.


'Daily Thanthi' popularly known as 'Dina Thanthi' is one of the leading newspapers in vernacular language in Tamil Nadu. Today, marks the 75th birthday for this daily. Founded by S. P. Adhithanar in Madurai in the year 1942, the daily is one of the leading newspaper in terms of circulation. 

Currently, this tamil daily is printed in Chennai, Madurai, Dindugul, Trichy, Tiruppur, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Vellore, Cuddalore, Puducherry, Bangalore and Mumbai cities with a circulation strength of 16,79,837 copies. This year alone an addition of 1,07,362 copies have been added, claims this daily.
