Chain snatching incident reported at Podanur


Nyanaguru (39) wife of Murgesh is a resident of Podanur. Last afternoon, Nyanaguru visited a shop in her locality to make her purchase. While she was on her way back home, two motorcycle borne men snatched her eight sovereign gold chain and escaped. A case has been registered with the Podanur police and a search is on to nab the culprits.

In wake of the increasing number of chain snatching cases that are being reported, the police has asked the police to be extra cautious.
