Heavy rains that intermittently lashed down yesterday uprooted a few trees in and around the city. An age old tree at the Collectorate was also uprooted in yesterday's rain. Power supply was also disrupted at a couple of places due to broken power lines.
The Fire and Rescue Services personnel were deployed to cut the partial cuts in the branches and clear the debris.
