The residents of Ward No:44 and 45 have raised complaints to the Corporation Commissioner regarding the deceiving activity of a plumber who has been bribing people and promising of fresh drinking water connections.
The residents of ward #44 and 45 have given a certain amount of money to the plumber Murali, who assured them of immediate drinking water connections. In the recent days, a few residents who felt suspicious about his promises, escalated the issue to the Corporation Commissioner Dr. Vijaya Karthikeyan, who in turn has advised his team to check for the same.
The team of officials ascertained that the plumber has deceived the residents of both the wards for installing additional and new connections and 40 such connections have been provided to the them.
The residents of ward 44 and 45 were shocked to realise that they have been conned by Murali and furthermore they are shocked to learn that they are using illegal water connection.
'A police complaint against the plumber has been filed and jis license has been terminated. Upon applying for fresh connections people should not fall prey to such people instead should follow the regulated procedures', said Special Officer Vijayakarthikeyan.
