This morning, SNR Sons College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chennai-based Unleash Sports LLP for setting up a sports infrastructure in a space of 8,000 sq.ft at the SNR Sons College for a cost of one-crore.
Chief Business Officer, Swathy Rohit, Chief Executive Officer, C V Ramkumar, Principal of SNR Sons College Dr. K Karunakaran, Secretary of Coimbatore football association J Raja among other participated in this event.

The football facility ‘Five Alive’ will be a branded football turf that will have spectator stands as per International standards. The football facility will be ready by the end of February 2017. Once this football facility is ready the SNR Sons College has plans of hosting tournaments for school and college students and for Corporates too.
Over 1,000 students from various educational institutions from the Sri Ramakrishna group participated in this event. Heads, Management and Staff of various institutions too witnessed the MoU being signed.

An interactive session was held with players of Chennaiyin FC Jeje (India's best player at the moment and ISL top Indian goal scorer. Khangebam Thoi Singh an Indian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Bengaluru FC in the I-League on loan from Chennaiyin in the Indian Super League. Eder Monteriro Fernander known as Eder, a Brazilian professional footballer who also plays for the Chennaiyin as a defender answered the questions from the students.
