In recent days, the public have been persistently raising complaints about extra fare being charged for parking tickets in the railways parking division.
In this regard, today, the contractor of the parking lot has been evicted and his contract has been terminated. It is to be noted that a case was filed by the Railways on the Contractor for continuing his tenure even after the stipulated period of contract. The judgement turned in favour of the Railways ordering to evict the contractor with immediate effect.
It is informed by the Railways that until, a fresh tender is released the Railways will be in-charge for the parking lot.
