DMK welcomes PM decision to ban 500 and 1000 rupees note

DMK treasurer Stalin has said that the his party welcomes the ban on 500 and 1000 rupees notes as it will benefit the economic development of the country. DMK treasurer Stalin visited Coimbatore today.

When speaking to the press he said, “DMK welcomes the PM's decision which will help the country's development. The election promise Rs15 lakhs in each citizen’s account by bringing the black money stacked in foreign countries has not been fulfilled. People are suffering as they were not given enough time to surrender the banned denominations. Though the government had assured during the time of the announcement of banning the Rs500 and Rs. 1000 notes that the notes can be used at the petrol bunks, medical stores and milk parlours the owners of such shops or bunks are refusing to accept the cash. People are greatly affected by this incident. The central government should take immediate action and should take necessary action”.
