A discussion was held today at the Coimbatore police commissioner's office regarding the digitisation process of the First Information Report (FIR). Preparations are underway to publish the FIR's which are filed in the Police stations.
Police officials from various regions including Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Nilgiris districts participated in a discussion that was held in this regard at the commissioner's office today. Tamil Nadu Crime Record bureau DGP Seema Agarwal held discussions with the police officers. It is expected that the FIR which are recorded from 15th November will be uploaded in the internet.
