CCMC collects 11.03 crores of pending taxes today!

The City Corporation has received tremendous response from the public after their announcement of acceptance of pending taxes using old 500 and 1000's denominations from 10th November to 11th November. 

The officials share that so far 11.03 crores of corporation taxes including water, property and professional tax has been collected from the public in all five zones. Upon, public requests to extend the date a little further the Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Dr. Vijayakarthikeyan has extended the date till 14th November evening. 

Total Collection of property tax alone amounts to 8.26 Crores and 2.77 crores of all other taxes. 

Property Tax Break-up:

East zone 1.36 cr

West zone 1.42 cr

South zone 1.22 cr

North zone 1.63 cr

Central zone 2.63 cr

The public have appreciated this welcome move by the corporation and for extending the dates over this weekend.
