Robert Bosch and KCT signs MoU to set up centre for automotive electronics.


Robert Bosch Engineering and Business solutions (RBEI) has set up a Bosch centre for automotive electronics at the Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) in the city. Robert Bosch will sign an MoU with KCT to set up the centre which will help in student development.

T.V. Sriram Vice President and Centre Head of Robert Bosch inaugurated the centre. Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent of KCT. Girish Kamala, Head automotive division of Infineon technologies and Anil Prakash, General Manager of RBEL were present during the inauguration.



L. Krishnamoorthy, Bosch Ambassador for KCT Group and Group Manager, Robert Bosch explained about the Bosch centre and its future plans.

'This centre is been set-up for automotive electronics at KCT to provide hands-on experience on the engine-management system, automotive embedded systems and communication protocol to the students in all departments in KCT. This inter-disciplinary centre is equipped with diesel engine management system demonstrator kits from Infineon technologies and various sensors and actuators from Robert Bosch.



While addressing the students, Shankar Vanavarayar, JC, KCT, Said that 'The centre will be a platform to foster and develop strategic linkages between KCT and relevant technical departments at RBEI for adding values to the students of KCT to enhance their knowledge and concepts behind some of the latest technologies in which RBEI is involved. RBEI will also provide support to KCT's faculty members by training them to teach the students about the latest developments in RBEI'.
