Heart-broken father breaks the hospital window following death of his child

Yesterday, Deepasri, a three-year-old girl was admitted to Coimbatore Child Trust Hospital Pvt Ltd, a private hospital in Singanallur. It is reported that upon examination the doctors declared that the child was affected by Pneumonia. The child was admitted to the hospital and was undergoing treatment for the same. But unfortunately the child passed away this afternoon at the hospital.

However, the father of this child Sivakumar who is a resident of Periyakuyili, alleges that the hospital did not administer the right treatment and thus their three year old daughter breathed her last at this hospital today.

Following this heart-break, an irate father broke the glass pane of the ICU unit of the hospital. Subsequently, the parents entered into an argument with the hospital authorities.

The Singanallur police are conducting an inquiry on this issue. The child's parents have said that the hospital doctors were very careless in treating the child since the admission. The parents also share that, this hospital had refused to accept the demonetised Rs.500 and Rs.1000 rupee notes for paying bills.
