Aram Foundation Charitable Trust partnered with the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) and launched their 'Child Care Response Centre' at the Corporation Higher Secondary School in Ranganathapuram today. This centre was declared open by Corporation Commissioner Dr K Vijayakarthikeyan.

At this launch the official child helpline number 8190000300 was revealed. The aim of this newly launched centre is to find a solution to the complaints that are lodged through this child helpline number. The child care response centre would be managed by the trust’s education and expert panel consisting of a Neuro psychologist, counsellor, social workers and educationists.
Depending on the type of complaint lodged this team of experts would offer guidance, counselling and action plans on a case to case basis. The child care response centre will function from the respective school campus, thus making it easy for the corporation school students to access the centre. A
Special Officer, Vijayakarthikeyan also declared open 'Kalaam Library' at the centre.

On the sidelines of inaugurating this centre Corporation Commissioner applauded Aram Foundation Charitable Trusts for the remarkable services that they have rendered in the field of education and character building for the past 4 years. He awarded certificates of excellence for the projects of this NGO projects like happy child, safe touch awareness, general and specific guidance, awareness and self defence, 'Vetri Palli' (smart school). It must be noted that two of the projects 'Happy Child' and 'Smart Class' have been rated among the 100 best projects of the country winning two of eight Skoch awards for the corporation earlier in September this year.
During the launch, Corporation Commissioner, Vijayakarthikeyan motivated the students with his thought-provoking speech on time management. In his talk he emphasised on the importance of time management and he urged the students to balance work and play. He also offered the students valuable tips on how to excel in their examinations.
