The responsibility of keeping our nation clean is not the Government’s responsibility alone. We citizens too have an active role to play in keeping our nation clean. Through its various initiatives the CCMC is doing a great job in keeping our city clean. We must cooperate with the Coimbatore Corporation.”

We are identifying areas where open defecation is taking place and the Coimbatore Corporation is working on ways and means to deal with this problem. Construction of public toilets is on the cards.”
Dr.Meenakshi Bharath, Gynaecologist and Fertility specialist, Bangalore in her address to the students emphasised on the importance of segregating and disposing waste. “We must follow the two bin one bag concept while segregating and disposing waste.
