The Indian Banks’ Association on Friday said banks will not be exchanging old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 denomination currency notes on Saturday as they complete regular work which was kept pending following the rush to exchange notes after the government banned those currencies last week.
Only senior citizens will be able to exchange currency notes on Saturday.
