A wheel chair rally was jointly organised by Ganga Spine and Rehabilitation Center and Rotary Club of Coimbatore Central on World Disability Day. The rally was flagged off by R.V. Ramya Bharathi Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore and Rtn. S. Manickam, President, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Central.
Cheran Nagar bus stop on Mettupalayam road was the start point of this rally and the rally concluded at Ganga Hospital’s Spine Injury Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Jayanthasri Balakrishnan, Professor at PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore delivered a special address motivating the patients at the Ganga Spine and Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Rajasekaran and Ramarajasekaran, Manikam Sockalingam, President Rotary Club of Coimbatore Central participated in this event.
