The state of Tamil Nadu has come to a total shut down after rumour on CM Jayalalitha’s death was telecasted in TV channels, this evening.
In no time, shops, commercial establishments, hotels and all essential services were terminated leaving the public in havoc. Though the news was immediately claimed as rumour, all essential services still remained closed.
In the city of Coimbatore, Outstation bus services from Ukkadam and Gandhipuram were terminated, since evening. People unable to reach the destinations had a tough time managing to find transportation.
Learning the need of the public, the Jamaat e Islami Hind (JIH) party have announced that they have decided to operate free autos and taxis to ply between Ukkadam, Kuniamuthur, Podanur and rest of other places.
