'Amma' waves her final good bye to the people of Tamil Nadu.

‘Amma’ waved her final good bye to the people of Tamil Nadu at 11:30 pm of 5th December, 2016. It's heart-wrenching to witness the flamboyant and Majestic 'Amma' lying 'Motionless' in her  convoy.

Presently, the body of CM Jayalalitha is shifted from Apollo to her residence in Poes Garden. Amidst hundreds of police force, the convoy has started it's mournful journey from Apollo hospitals to 'Vedha Nilayam', Poes Garden.

The siren sounds from CM's convoy, evokes memories of the days she waved her hands with that gentle smile to ardent AIADMK cadres, who worshipped and adorned her more than a leader.

Undoubtedly, it’s a harrowing moment for the AIADMK Cadres and the entire people of Tamil Nadu. The death news of the courageous and admirable AIADMK Supremo has collapsed the cadres of the party.

While the cadres of AIADMK were very confident of hearing the dynamic voice of their 'Amma' soon. Her death news, has put them in a state of shock, the cadres, especially the women are seen ‘weeping’ and recollecting the memories of their beloved ‘Amma’.

Re-elected as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the fifth time in 2016, the 68-year-old iconic figure of Indian Politics fought hard to recoup from her ailments for close to 75 days at the Apollo Hospitals. After 'kind of' recouping from her ailments, she was supposedly to be discharged shortly.

Totally unexpected, she incurred a massive cardiac arrest yesterday (4th December, 2016) at the hospital. Even after providing state-of-art care by an expert panel of doctors of Apollo and AIIMS, her health showed 'no signs' of improvement. She finally breathe her last at 11:30pm.

Expressing profound grief over CM’s death, top political members and well-wishers including Prime Minister, Narendra Modi have been expressing their condolences and shock over the death of the iron lady and AIADMK Supremo.

Tweet by PM Narendra Modi: 'Deeply saddened at the passing away of Selvi Jayalalithaa. Her demise has left a huge void in Indian politics'.

Official sources confirm that the State of Tamil Nadu would observe a seven-day mourning as a mark of tribute to Chief Minister, Jayalalitha. Educational and government institutions would remain closed for three days, from today.

Sources say, her final rites would take place at 4:30 pm, tomorrow.
