Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is hosting a MSME Expo 2016 and National Vendor Development Programme at Coimbatore. This three day MSME 2016 Expo, will be organised jointly by the Coimbatore chapter of MSME and Coimbatore SIDCO Industrial Estate Manufacturer’s Welfare Association. This event is scheduled to be hosted from 14 to 16 December at the Padmavathi Ammal Cultural Centre in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. C.P. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of Coir board will be the chief guest at the inauguration.
The event is organised to sensitise the entrepreneurs about the central procurement policy of the MSEs and also to create an opportunity for city-based enterprises to exchange their expertise and technology with enterprises from across the country.
About 90 stalls of entrepreneurs and central government companies like Railways, Defence, NLC, BHEL, BEML, SAIL, HAL will be on display at this venue. Several micro, small medium and large enterprises are also expected to participate in this expo.
