A peace rally, led by K.R. Arjunan MP, to mourn the death of the former Chief Minister, J Jayalalitha, was hosted in Coonoor. The event was organised by Saravana Kumar party’s secretary for Coonoor. The rally was flagged off at Lali hospital in Coonoor and concluded near the Anna Statue. Students of Providence College and members of general public participated in this rally.
