Kodanadu Estate will miss 'Amma' forever!

Former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa’s most cherished escapade from the hustles and chaos of Chennai was the 'Kodanadu' estates in  Nilgiris district. This small hilly village undoubtedly shared a special special in her heart, as every year she spent some quality time in her palatial bungalow amidst the misty mountains.

The stone denoting the distance to Kodanadu estate from Coonoor will never see their Amma's convoy ever again!  Now that she is no more, this tiny hilly hamlet too remains gloomy as this beautiful woman would never set foot on this mystical place ever again.

It has also been reported that the former CM, saw to the well being of people who worked in her estate. Every year she would come to rest at Kodanadu estates, but this time around she chose the shores of the Bay of Bengal, to rest forever! Her burial site next to her mentor MGR place at Marina, now has a mystic aura to it than it had ever been.

These mountains will miss her magnificence for sure. The songs of the birds will now have a lesser pair of ears. Like the winding roads of these hills, her life too had its own share of twists and bends.
