Lack of preparations before demonetisation by the finance ministry has caused a lot of problems says Subramanian Swamy

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy when speaking to the press in Coimbatore said that, following the demonetisation process we are facing problems due to lack of preparation. Subramanian Swamy met press persons at the Coimbatore Airport and he said that, “The issue of the next General Secretary of the AIADMK party should be decided at the party’s general body meeting. Those who have doubts regarding J.Jayalalitha’s death should submit evidence supporting their claim.”

He said the problem that this country is facing due to the demonetisation is because lack of preparations on part of the finance ministry before announcing the ban on currency notes. He also said that there are problems in dispensing the new Rs.500 and Rs. 2000 rupee noted through ATMs as the new currency notes are smaller in size.

Further he added that during a meeting chaired by him, 4 ideas were presented regarding the demonetisation process to the central government but they have not been implemented. “I have requested the central government to file cases on the persons who leaked the information about the demonetisation process but no action has been taken so far in that regard.” Subramanian Swamy said.
