Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Dr. Vijayakarthikeyan today flagged of the 'Swachh Survekshan' and 'Swachata' awareness vehicles today at the Coimbatore Corporation’s premise.
The trucks, which are about 40 in number, will carry hoardings and flex banners around the city to create awareness among the people about the Swachh Survekshan and Swachata schemes of the central government.
P. Gandhimathi, Deputy Commissioner and Coimbatore Corporation officials were present during the flagging off ceremony.
